The Cost Of Sleep

Two test revisions,

and a journal to fill in:

Not too much to pay.

but then there’s the mind

that loves to rehearse

that loves to fantasize.

 

The cost of sleep is

the  end of peace.

Thoughts of maybes

and could bes

and I want to do mores.

 

The cost of sleep is

time gone by, lost.

The cost of sleep is youth,

is age; unconscious space

The cost of sleep-

too high.
